Hajdúszoboszló is located in the north-eastern part of the great Hungarian plain, 200 kilometres east of Budapest, 20 kilometres southwest of Debrecen, and 60 kilometres north of Oradea (RO).
From Budapest it is easy to get to Hajduszoboszlo on the M3 highway then turning on the M35. The exit of the highway is 10 kms away from the city, from where we should use main road Nr 4 to reach the city.
From Debrecen we can arrive in the main road Nr 4 as well.
From Romania go straight on the road 42 until Berettyoujfalu, then on the road 47 till Derecske, in the roundabout of Derecske you should turn left, the direction of Hajdúszovát and shortly you will arrive.
It's easy to reach Hajdúszoboszló by train, while the city is on the Budapest-(Hajduszoboszlo)-Debrecen-Nyiregyhaza-Zahony main line. Every train stops in Hajduszoboszlo, the most comforted intercity trains as well.
